Packing       Terms & Conditions

Packing of individual and container shipment.
Smaller bamboo and/or rattan products are wrapped with sponge or plastic protection and packed into a corrugated cardboard box or a wooden crate depending on the fragility of the item. Larger items and/or most of our bamboo products are individually wrapped in foam sheets and if required, corrugated cardboard wrapped for extra protection. Silica Gel is added to all packages.

 
Shipping Documents

All necessary official export documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, certificate of origin etc. are prepared when we start handling of your shipping arrangements. There is no extra cost for this procedure. All the above documents are forwarded to your preferable broker or agent once your shipment is ready to proceed. A copy of the documents is going to be on your hand when the shipment is in transit.

Insurance

Insurance is available from 3% and up depending on the value of the product total amount. You may choose either your personal insurance agent to request for your needs or our shipping agent to provide from Bali.

Air Freight 

Air freight is usually much expensive than ocean freight to any destination. Unless you have great urgency, this method is not recommendable. Air freight is charged by the actual or dimensional weight whichever comes greater. When required, we will use the least expensive air cargo to ship to your location. Transit time is about 3-5 days to most destinations. Please contact us for more detailed information regarding the air shipment

Ocean Freight LCL (Loose Cargo / Less Container Load) 

It is until a container which is sailing to the same destination becomes available that the shipping company releases your shipment to load to the container. Your shipment is then consolidated with other freights within the container. The minimum cubic freight charge starts by 1M3 minimum and shipping takes at least twice as long to arrive its destination since waiting for an available container.

 

FCL (Full Container Load) 

We ourselves load packed products to several freight trucks and bring to the export port of Surabaya and physically supervise loading the container. Prioritize loading order and arrange the container space to minimize the empty space for a safe ocean sailing. 

 

20' Ocean Container ( 32.51 M3 /1148 Ft3 ) 

Less common for a large shipment. A 20f container is only reccomedable when rattan items or smaller K.D. bamboo products are shipped. Ocean freight cost is as much as 70-80% of that of a 40f container.

40' Ocean Container (67.48 M3 /2383 Ft3 )

Commonly used for a large shipment. Using 40 f container is cost effective. Its ocean freight cost is usually less than 1 1/2 of that of a 20f container. 

40' HC High Cubic Ocean Container (76.09 M3/2687 Ft3)

Most of our customers chose a 40 f high cubic container. 12 inches higher than the regular 40' ocean container Useful for our large product shipments that will need more than the volume of a 40 f container and maximum space is required.
